Snow Report and Closing Weekend Schedule

It really started to feel like spring this week! Warm and sunny weather through the weekend brought some very slushy days. This morning it felt much cooler and we saw a small dusting last night bringing about an inch of snow to the mountain. Daily Snow is calling for about 4-8 inches today and a few more tonight. If we do see this forecasted snow, tomorrow morning should be a nice little powder day.

Closing weekend is forecasted to be partly sunny with temperature in the 30’s. The Carboard Classic is held on Saturday. This is a fun race featuring skiers and snowboarders outfitted in homemade cardboard crafts racing down Stampeded trail.

Then on Sunday, the Pond Skimming Championship hits Steamboat wrapping up another epic season at Steamboat.

There are also two free concerts held at the base area this weekend. Magic Giant is playing on Saturday and The Wailers are playing on Sunday. Both shows are on the stage right next to the gondola and start at 3:30pm.

End the season right and come celebrate this weekend!
