We are experiencing what many Colorado natives call “Fool’s Spring” right now which means temperatures have been rising, the sun has been shining and the snow is turning to mashed potatoes every afternoon.
These are great days to put on some sunscreen and get on the slopes to enjoy the sunshine. However, it is called “Fool’s Spring” for a reason! Winter will be back soon enough – we are seeing snow in the forecast late next week.
The spring activities on the mountain have begun. The first “Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series” show is this upcoming Saturday. Then on Sunday Boom Valley is starting their weekly “Après Sessions” at T Bar! This will include a patio stage, craft beer, food, and more!
Next week is the annual Slash and Burn event on Friday and Saturday March 13th-14th! The Slash and Burn is a banked slalom race open to both kids and adults! It is held in Bashor Bowl and is always a fun time to watch or participate in!
Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen!
