Snow Report 1.18.20

Winter is officially in full swing here in Routt County!

Although most of Friday’s snow was tracked out before lifts closed on Friday, strong wind gusts throughout the night made for some fun pockets of snow this morning!

Temps have dropped again this week, so we recommend waiting a bit to hit the slopes if there is no new snow.

Everything is skiing really well right now, with a solid base across the mountain.

Locals Tip:

Tipi trees usually stay soft for a few days after a storm!

To get to the tipi trees, head down Vagabond until you see two tipis on your right. Head towards the tipis and you will see a track headed out straight behind them. Take this track as far as you would like before dropping in.

It looks like the next chance for a storm is this Tuesday through Thursday so check back for updates!

Have fun and be safe!
