Fly Report: June 14th

The fishing has been really good in the past few weeks, although we are starting to get concerned with the extremely low waters as we have already seen a closure of the Stagecoach Tailwaters.

Hot Flies: Pheasant Tail, PMD, Worms, Caddis, Drakes and Yellow Sally

Town and Sarvis Creek have been fishing great and should be for a few more weeks. We do see some rain in the forecast so hopefully we will see some higher flows with the rain.

If the rain does come, that can be the best time to fish sometimes. If the rain is pelting the surface, fish will move from feeding on the surface to feeding on the bottom. Try nymphing during this transition to really get the trout’s attention.

Straight Lines and Happy Fishing!
