Fishing Report 3.31.21

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the fishing is great!

Conditions are changing almost daily with the occurrence of weather fluctuations. The Yampa through town is most likely the best place to check out right now. The ice shelves have receded and the river has opened up.

There are also some great options out of town. The tailwaters of Sarvis Creek and Steamboat Lake are producing some great results. Just be prepared to hike!

You can still go ice fishing, but know that the days are numbered. There’s maybe another week or two left in the season, but with these warmer temperatures the ice is sure to melt soon.
